There are things people can do to assure an abundance of food in the coming months. Buying locally produced food and gardening are two sensible actions.
Harry wants to cooperate with local farmers to ensure that they are being fully utilized. He also wants to facilitate cooperative gardening. Any individual or group of people who want to grow food should have the support of the city. Lots without houses and other land can be made available to neighborhood gardeners. These simple actions are cost-effective, and empowering.
